Ah...the Sioux City Bath House. Yes, this is where a girl comes when she needs to wind down. This card is for my friend Gail, who liked this card and this card- so I mixed the two. My love of scenes came from studying Kittie747, and I used her leaves from Rubbernecker's Kitty Kits Cause a Scene to create the background. And the extended scene is a technique I picked up from another favorite Stamper- Judy (jaydekay). I love how I can learn from so many in this place. Thanks so much gals! The sky was made by sponging Bashful Blue over a torn paper towel- you can see a tutorial for this technique at .
Ok Gail...see ya in the meadow. Ooops...maybe not!
Thanks for looking!

Girl, you are KILLING me! I had not seen your other two creations so I clicked on your links to view those. Just absolutely astonishingly LOVELY. The back layer is just wonderful. And, that bow in your bathing beauty's hair is adorable. She's even got her pearl earrings on as she soaks in those luxurious bubbles. I'd be putting this in a shadow box and hanging it out for all to see. A lovely gift for your friend.

This is such a beautifully done card Pat!! I definitely see the influence of Kitty in this. Great for you for mixing up other styles; I think that is a great way to grow - not that your work is in any need of improvement. Hugs! :>)

Gail is a smart woman - both those cards she liked were wonderful, but this one tops them both. Wow - makes me want to drag a tub out in the field and make some bubbles...oh...I got carried away there....no way I am going to go outside and soak with all those bugs out there...plus the cows would probably want to eat those bubbles, not to mention that the ducks would probably want in too..oh... I see a disaster in that idea! Ha, ha, ha. This is a total winner Pat - such a calming scene if you don't think about the complications and it is sure purdy! Hugz! LYMI!

Love this combination of Gail's 2 favorite cards - I am with Nancy - makes you want to BE THERE- except for the bugs, cows, mosquitoes and of course the ducks!!
The way you pop your scene up and extend the BG on to it is something I LOVE!! I think I will have to experiment and try this wonderful technique though I highly doubt mine will turn out anywhere near as good as yours - you are the Master scene maker!! HUGS!

Love this Pat! She will be smelling fresh as a daisy after taking her bath outside! I haven't had much gallery time since it's musical theater season and am so glad I got to see this stellar card. Hope you don't mind but I pinned this to pinterest.
