This is the card I made for the husband of a fellow teapotter. For more details, please see here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers (thanks Sabrina for the tip on the single post link!)
Tig has had shoulder surgery and has some physical limitations that he is dealing with. I recently learned how to create my own WordArt so I created this sentiment for my card and it is oh-so-true! I had a severely frozen shoulder for 2 years and several years later, dealt with a partially frozen other shoulder, so I definitely feel Tig's pain in more ways than one.
I loved this image and hope Tig won't think it's too 'cutesy'! Printed digi image and sentiment. Coloured image with prismacolour pencils and OMS to blend. Here's where I send out kudos to those of you who can draw! I attempted to add clouds (not drawn but with a template even, and I even did practice ones!) but they did NOT turn out. This lead to an exercise of how many distress ink layers can I add without ruining this card! After I got to the end of that rope, I coloured a silver border strip with a permanent marker and attached it at the top! Added the sentiment on pop dots and added the brads. Added a final touch of glitter to the duck and to the waves and done! tfl

Hi there Charlene! Oh, this is so cute! I think Tig will love the image.....he and Shirt are quite the animal lovers so I think seeing a couple of cute little critters in a boat doing what he loves will give him great pleasure! Your sentiment rocks. I know where you learned to do this word art! Ha!
Thanks for always doing your part and making a wonderful card for the destination......this is another example of your kindness. Tig will be so touched by this, I am sure!
