All day long in between pools I tried to do a sketch of Nobie, DD's horse, from a photo I took of him. I thought he would work perfectly for the sketch today.....details...
DD is down to only one horse now. She had to give Max away because his gate was too ruff for her since her accident last year. Nobie, who used to be a cantacerous kind of horse and would try to bite you has done a 180 degree turn around since DD moved him to a new place they are fixing up that has horse property.
He just looks happy. Plus he has a friend to share the pasture with. So, between the two horses I sketched this one giving it Nobie's coloring.
Made my bg panel have a western look by running brown cs through the cb, then brayering it with versamark and clear ep'd. Then sponged on vintage photo and added some white dots.
Put misc dp on white cs that I took a black copic to the edges. For the circle, I put metal repair tape on it then ran it through the cb.
Put this all on a white card. Well, must go do the dishes, but will be back shortly. Have a great evening All!.....TFL :0)

I love your embossed bg and your drawing of Nobie!! It's neat that your daughter can have horses, but I know they are a lot of work and a lot of money. Was her accident from falling off of a horse??

Cathy, what a great card! Sad to have to give up your horse, but at least she still has one that is gentle. Hope your daughter is doing great!

Great card and I really love the background you created. Sorry your DD had to give up her beloved horse, but I'm glad Mr Noble is now a happy horse in his new home!

What is it about horses that inspires our love? My niece rides and has just had to find homes for their two. (actually think my SIL found the homes but that's another story!) Love that tooled leather look you created with the paisley embossing folder. Great look!

I'm likin' those big brown eyes on that horsie - great background. Sounds like your DD has a smoother ride and her former horse is happy, winners all the way around.
