Today's color challenge colors of Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede are out of my typical range, but I'm glad I tried them out. I thought the colors would work well for a layered collage so that's the look I went for. I started by stamping the Floral bg in the Daffodil followed by Script in Suede. I stamped the flowers in Poppy using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement. I colored in the stems and leaves with a Suede marker. I rounded 2 of the corners of the base and sentiment and sponged the edges of both with Suede. The dessert option for the challenge was to use eyelets or brads, so I added 3 brads to my sentiment which I popped over the bg. I added a ribbon to the bottom and called it done.

WOW! This is so pretty!
I love the bg stamp with the pretty poppies on the right.
Your ribbon is just the right place to offset your sentiment
awesome card!!!

This is totally pretty!!! I love the script stamped on the daffodil designer paper. Your rounded corners are nice, and I love the poppy colored dandelions.

A beautiful card, Gail....and wonderful use of today's colors. Your main panel is gorgeous with the text over the pattern and then the lovely red flowers stamped on top.
