No...Suzie doesn't have a black eye, her flowers do! I have been making a ton of blooms lately and ran out of my gold micro beads- which inspired this card. I switched to black beads for these and love the look. Black-eye Susan's are so "country fresh", and this week the Twisted Sister's challenge is to use a circle, one color (ok, so I cheated a tad) and black.
The Pure Innocence image from MFT is water colored and paper pieced and I added a bit of lace to the bottom of her dress. The "Girlfriend" sentiment is from Inkadinkado. Here is a link on how to make the Mini Blooms.
Thanks for looking!

Oh I do so love those black-eyed Susan's, and I think I am kinda glad you ran out of gold micro beads - those flowers are great. What a darling card - love the colors, and she looks like she is standing in a garden. Lovely and inspirational as always!!!

This hole thing just stinks of sweetness!!!! The most perfect touch is the lace at the bottom of her dress. Thanks for the link on how to make them pretty flowers.

Pat, I always love your cards. This is no exception. I love those Pure Innocence stamps. The paper piecing on her dress is really pretty plus the little hint of lace. The papers you chose are pretty along with the great design. This is so pretty. I'm like Lesley, thanks for the inspiration!
