oh, what fun I had in this weeks Queen for the Day challenge!!! Thanks Trish for bringing the spotlight on ravengirl, Toni. I don't know how others go about selecting a card to case, but I always like to begin at the very beginning and slowly go through their gallery to see how their styles have evolved through time. However this time I stopped dead in my looking at ravengirl's very first upload.....for you will see, she and I used the VERY same stamp for our 1st uploads!!! How could I not case her card?????
So it is with honor that I present my tempting joy card. I dug out the SU Balmy Breezes set, chocolate chip and crumb bake papers for Wendy's F4A101 challenge Chocolate Cake and Graphic 45's new Tropical Travel papers. I kept the layout out the same as Toni's and used that big~o~wonderful palm tree. I also used tiny tropical shells, fish, star and sea horse PAINSTAKINGLY strung onto cord and hand knotted to stay in place. I used staples as on my 1st upload, embossed the elephant 'stamp' in the top corner, added a JOY metal sentiment I glittered ages ago, it was perfect for today. Also tied another tiny transparent shell over the 'O".
Thank you so much, Trish and Toni for the renewed inspiration. Like I said in my original card, that went to my BFF, 4 years ago...this card will be slipped in the mail to her once again, though now she is living in India and we'll be on the shores of a new tropical paradise come this September.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. And thanks so much for the gift of your comments.

Susan, what a beautiful study in aqua and brown of sea and shore images. Love the string of frosty aqua bead and the small scallop shell for the letter "O". Beautifully done.

How fun to look back at each of your first cards and see what you've done today. Lovely card and I really like your string of shells and the sentiment is very clever. Your bff is sure to love this beauty.

I LOVE clicking on your cards and seeing what you've created, Susan, and I'm never disappointed with your unique, beautiful style...LOOOOOOOVE your colors and the threaded seashells...I'm imagining them tinkling in the tropical breezes as as they hang off the roof of a wrap around porch and I lay on a hammock...sorry, got carried away there...this is beautiful stamping and a wonderful layout!

How funny the two of you using the same image on your first up-loads! AND they both were fabulous! Now you have revisited those cards and redid it even better. Susan, love this! TFS :0)
