I wasn't sure I'd have time to make a card today - we have guests staying over tonight, and in the hopes that I've scrounged enough jars for a second batch of marmalade I have oranges to prepare.
But I enjoyed looking through the book section over breakfast, and when I saw THIS knitting set in the arts and crafts section, I knew I could make a quick card. After I'd retrieved fine knitting needles from behind the second bed I'd set up in the spare room .
A2 base. Stamped with Linen and Vintage Vogues, edges distressed and stitched. Labels 10 stamped with Linen and Vintage Vogue, and a sentiment from Sincere Salutations.
I used some lovely Nori sock yarn to knit my little sweater and then transferred it to cocktail sticks with beads on the end. Label panel popped up on foam dots.
Now I think I should have stamped the base Linen in the same colour as the label layer, but I wanted a bit of contrast. No time for a remake now...
