This week's TSC was to make something with a floral background. I chose to use a background stamp from SU. One of my favorite ways to use it is to clear emboss with Versamark and clear EP. Since Valentine's Day is coming up, I used red for the background. Die cut the image panel and sentiment panel using Nesties die. The image is colored with Copics and sponged the edges with Robin Hood Red. Tied on a tull bow and added a stick pin with pearls and beads and because it needed a bit of red on the bow, I tied on a scrap piece of red ribbon. The sentiment is also from a SU set. Mounted this on a white card base.

Wow, Tater, you sure went all out for this one!! Your background looks like damask - very rich, indeed!! The scalloped nesties for the rose and senti really POP on the red! Your finishing touch - the bow - really blew me away - the tull and the touch of red ribbon are perfect mated with your stick pin! Purty fancy, Sis, and perfect for Valentine's Day!!

Oooo...weee! Gawgus (y'all say that in Texas, right?) Sweet Tater, this is just beautiful! Love your beautiful bg, and that delish bloom too! The tulle and stick pin are dreamy. I'm running behind, as usual, but will join you tomorrow. Gawgus, I tell ya! Lymi

Tater, this is so pretty. Your rose is beautiful and the sentiment is great. I like your bg paper, it's so pretty then you topped it off with that great bow! This is a beautiful card.
