Happy Tuesday everyone. Here is my card for Amy. A young woman who has been in the hospital since December - she has just been diagnosed with Leukemia. Here is the story for our teaparty today.
We are hoping to send Amy some happy mail. She is a big "Twilight Fan". I created this scene for her. I don't know if you can read it - but I wrote "Bite Me" on the moon.
I guess I am coming in the back door for sure - dark trees, full moom and a hunky vampire too....
The trees are a free digi image from Beccy's Place . The Edward Cullen image is from a colouring page on the internet. I sponge old olive around the trees, basic black on the sky and close to cocoa on the ground. Daubed on some Platium stickles for the stars and on the moon. The checked frame is a piece of designer glitter paper from the dollar store. I covered the white base card with gold paper. I sewed the tree panel onto the checkered paper. Coloured Edward with Tombow markers and popped him up. The checkered panel is popped up as well.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

You might end up getting many requests from Twilight fans for copies of this card. It has everything including a sentiment sure to send a giggle to Amy.

Your layout is very interesting; love the checkerboard; the trees and the moon have a bit of a menacing look which works for the Twilight series (I think).

Very atmospheric, Patricia, you've created a fabulous night time scene. Reminds me of a couple of youth club walks when some of the girls were scared of the bats flying around! Love that DP in the background, too, it's perfect with your scene.
