For this week's MFT sketch challenge. For me it seems funny to have Flopsey sitting against a rock - most times we go kite-flying it's on the beach.
All papers are Basic Grey Mellow. I embossed the vertical strips with SU's Lattice ef, and all edges are sponged with brown ink.
Image stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks. With a needle I pierced a hole either side of the bobbin and thread some nylon round it three times. One end is secured at the back of the panel, the other end behind the kite. I pieced in a few little bows (?, what do you call this little decorative bits on the tail) along the nylon. Sentiment has the end rounded a bit with a circle punch. Flopsey has some AppliGlue on his tail for dimension. Love how this one came out .
