Using patterned papers from Cosmo CricketÂ’s Circa 1934, I layered two patterns from the pack onto a A2 sized card base. Since I didnÂ’t have any cardstock to match the off colored yellowish green in this patterned paper, I stamped the sentiment several different times on a scrap of the numbered paper, then trimmed them out and reassembled them on a Labels 22 die cut.
The button, from my stash needed some thread, but I didnÂ’t have any black twine, so I took some black and white bakers twine and colored it with my black Copic marker. I love the ability to make BakerÂ’s Twine any color I wish with the help of my Copic markers.
With a bit of black crepe ribbon and the addition of a few taupe colored pearls, this card was complete. Pretty simple and hopefully, masculine but not too remorse for a birthday LOL.
