When you said "Bead it" I should have translated it to "Beat it" and run for my life. But I didn't - and everything that could go wrong - did. But I do have a card and up close, it's actually quite nice looking. It won't go through the mail without losing it's beads, I'm sure, but it IS pretty.
I will tell you what I did, but don't do it. I started with an embossed piece of white CS. I added glue to the center and smooshed beads on it. I couldn't find my spray glue, so I thought paint might work and I sprayed the whole thing with clear spray paint. Now it smells bad. :( Next I cut the Kraft and Red ovals and put them over the top. Looking good so far, so I die cut a couple butterflies with a nestie die and put them on with a brad. The red one is embossed with gold along the edges. It really is quite nice looking, but not too practical. But...I have another idea. tfl

You're so funny..I love your little recipe that you made up but then tell us not to try...LOL. At first I thought this was a shaker card..whatever, it looks cool and sounds like you had fun making it.

Well, every now and then we have to do a card that we hand deliver...I'm wondering if my micro beads will stay on my butterfly though the mail too.
I do like your beaded background with the butterfly and Kraft paper.

Neat card! I like the colors of your beads and how you used them as a background! I don't even know if I have any crafting beads ... if I ever get to make a card for the challenge, I believe I may have some a broken string or two of vintage jewelry beads that I can use.
