I tend to lean towards really bright colours in my stamping and scrapbooking. I can't count on one hand the number of times I've used Not Quite Navy in my projects. It's just not a colour that really grabs me.
I think chocolate chip, not quite navy and daffodil make for a cool masculine colour combo. I decided to use it to make my oldest son's birthday card in January. He'll be 7 and when asked what he wants to be when he grows up, he says, "I wanna build stuff." Fitting card, don't you think? : )

This is tres cool!! Glad to have this cute card idea in the back of my head, since I just ordered this set. (I have 6 sons - I think I will get some use out of it!)
