This is for WT353 Use It or Lose It....to find a card in our favorites gallery to inspire our project. I have been a big fan of Darlene Adamo (darlenestamps) for several years. I always love to see what she has created and my favorites are filled with her work. I was inspired tonight by Darlene's Welcome Christmas silhouette card. CAS145~TLC352 Welcome Christmas by darleenstamps at Splitcoaststampers I drew inspiration from her precious silhouette image against the punched pine tree border. I created a totally black and white card using the white punched pines and star against the black night sky. I'm not sure how easy it is to make out the silhouette image of the Papertrey sleigh and horse in the window but up close it is so fun. I popped up the trees a little and let the points of the star remain free so they would pop up as well. I die cut a black lattice background to go over the white base card and to add one more layer of black for interest against the white. Thanks, Darlene for being such a creative and inspiring artist in our community.
