More Christmas projects....this one was inspired by Linda Duke's creation - from her blog back in July. I LOVE her work and it is a true inspiration for me! (Thank you! Linda for sharing!) ( http://lindaduke.typepad.com/lindas_.../07/index.html
scroll down) - so when the holiday rolled around, I couldn't wait to try it....first time for everything!
No stamping involved but lots of die cutting, layering and embellishments. I like how it turned out and will be a nice addition to my Christmas decor!
Here's the scoop --
Paper mache mailbox by Darice
covered it with Iron Orchid Designs DP
Glue - Ranger Glue & Seal (works really nice)
Spellbinders - pointsettia and leaf die - various cardstock and metallic cardstock -- dotted with Faux Snow -- formed the flowers using the McGill pad and stylus to give dimension to them
Viva pearl pens on jewelry wire and fishing wire
Polar White Flowersoft and Elizabeth Craft Glitter 9white Opaque) on top to give the look of snow
ends of the mailbox are colored using Ranger Wild Honey Stain and distressed with Ranger White Cap daubers
Mariannes' - pine branch die
Not a difficult project really - but the flowers took some time to cut, form and assemble --- but I do Love them!
Thanks for looking!
Happy Crafting!
