Studbo (Linda) is the Featured Stamper today. She has a super fun style and I enjoyed looking through her gallery. I was making yet another ornament card (I finally have the 24 card set done so no more ornament cards - yea!!) and I thought the basic layout on this card would work well:
Linda's card is bright and happy but I went with a more country vintage look. I turned the card, used an oval rather than a circle, and added raffia and a punched out sentiment.
Thanks for the inspiration Linda - I needed it to get this set done!

Hey Nancy, this is soooo very warm and cozy down home Christmasy. What beautiful style. Love the text bg and gingham and what a great layered sentiment. Lots and Lots of Lovliness.

How warm and inviting, Nancy! Wonderful sponged edges, they add such a delightful softness! Love the printed background, too and that lovely, rustic ornament!

I was thinking when this card came up that it had a nice country rustic look to it that would match the decorations in my house..lol It's the gingham and the tan. I love the little pine needle punch in the background and the raffia and pearl accents. Beautiful Country Christmas show piece.

Wowza, what a gorgeous card!!! I love the country feel. I've always loved country, wanted to decorate my house in that style, but hubby likes contemporary...impossible to mix the two successfully!! Thanks for playing on my special day.
