Before looking for a card to CASE in today's Featured Stamper' (Studbo a/k/a Linda) gallery, I knew I wanted to find one that I could transform into a gift card box because I'm giving several gift cards for Christmas. When I came upon Linda's Happy Wintery Snowflakes card. I used her same colors and snowflakes theme, but adjusted it using different stamps and DP -- and, of course, my project is NOT a card!
This is also a sneak peek of a soon-to-be-released set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company called Ice and Snow. The snowflake on the front is part of that set. The tutorial for this gift card box is from Technie Junkies.

Oh how fun Lois! I have to laugh because I see your homemade DIY light box just like mine in the background. Don't you hate it when they're not big enough?

What a beautiful box - inside and out! I never thought about giving giftcards in a box - great idea, and more of a surprise than a flat envelope that obviously contains $ or a giftcard. And, they get the box as part of the gift too. TFS
