I had this sketched out in the wee hours last night after checking the colour challenge forum and pieced it together during my little one's 15-minute power nap, only to find that the green embossing powder I used for the leaves didn't show up very well against the kraft background. So I rubbed a bit of white acrylic paint around the leaves which made them show up much better (and is still in keeping with the colour challenge!# I actually used Lucky Limeade instead of Pear Pizzazz #close enough, right?) I cheated a bit more by using some Early Espresso ink for the sentiment and to sponge some edges. When you look at how I glued the pieces on you can see it's as crooked as a dog's hind leg... but I'm so happy that I finally got to play a bit today that I don't care. Too much.

Wonderful! Isn't it fabulous when our mistakes take a card from good to great! What a happy accident!

Wow, I wish I could accomplish as much in our little guy's power nap! This is so classy! I love the white around the leaves. It really makes them pop. TFS
