Better late than never I say This card is in honor of last week's QFTD - Karen Barber. We have been so busy packing up our entire house to get new carpet and kitchen flooring, that I am really behind on some of my favorite challenges - this being no exception. If you have not visited Karen's gallery, you are certainly missing out. Her gallery is outstanding with all those gorgeous bows
The beautiful card I chose of Karen's to CASE is this one:
I changed the background, making my own BG by stamping the definitions on K&Company designer paper. I changed the colors, as well as the border stamp. The image is from Flourishes and colored with Copics. The definition stamp is from Stampendous. The ribbon is definitely downsized from Karen's original. I am a bit intimidated by Karen's beautiful bows, so as not to embarrass her - LOL - I decided to scale mine to a size more manageable for me
This card is going to a friend of mine at work. Her birthday is this week. Sure hope she likes it, and I hope you do too.

Barb, you really created a beuatiful card to CASE Karen's. Your coloring is beautiful and such a creative bg. I like you more scaled down bow...it lets your lilacs be the focal point. The punched borders add a pretty feminine touch.
