I seldom use wrapping paper any more but love to decorate bags for gift giving. If I use a checked bag like today I like to stamp on solid tissue paper and make a tag to match and attach with a raffia bow. I am country to the core and Christmas speaks to me with gingham, gingerbread, snowflakes and snowmen-kind of how I decorate my kitchen and tree.

Bev, what a neat idea to stamp the tissue paper! Love the country charm of your ensemble. That gingham bag is too cute...I'll have to keep my eyes open for those. The raffia is a perfect touch.

Printed tissue is so expensive. What a super idea to stamp it with a color that coordinates w/the already festive bag! I have a bunch of homespun gingham bags (red and green.) I will definitely remember to stamp the tissue. TFS
