Another card for Michelle's Find Your Happy Place challenge. I nearly reckoned it could work for today, but I started it with a happy place in mind. I can spend hours watching the birds in the garden, and on a bad day this week it was a real treat to see a (European) goldfinch to brighten things up a bit for me.
5 3/4" square base. Papers are Basic Grey Lily Kate.
Kodomo Zigen image stamped on Bristol board with Versafine Sepia and coloured with distress inks. If it had been a better week I might actually have tried to colour them like goldfinches, but sparrows are easy .
Stickles in the centres of the flowers.
Sentiment from Inspired by Nature stamped with Sepia directly on the base. Fan-fold flower made from white card with the edges punched with a scallop punch and sponged with Victorian Velvet; I used a button tied with narrow pink ribbon to finish it off.
Corners punched with Fiskars punch.

A beautiful bird scene and your fan-fold flower is lovely.
I can identify with the birdwatching, Sabrina! We have feeders throughout the backyard. Lately we've had several bluejays frequenting them. Squawky but beautiful birds!

There's something magical about the birds. I love to watch them in my back yard, too. Love the pop of color with the rosette! Thanks for supporting HYCCT (again)!
