Wow, a blast from the past, and it makes me realize how long ago that was. 55 years should not have passed so fast. My first school lunchbox was a tartan plaid similar to this design paper and of course, the rotary phone was a staple of the house. And weren't we lucky to even have one phone!! That was the big status symbol when the kids in the family had a seperate phone line. Wooo!

Hey, Gallery Neighbor! You used my favorite BG Christmas paper Jovial (and so did I!). That site certainly was a blast from the past, wasn't it. Do you know I can still remember our first telephone number from when I was a kid? Your writing a phone number on your rotary phone reminded me! That was back when we had "words" in phone numbers. PIlgrim 5-4926. How's that for a memory?!!!

I just love that you created a rotary phone, Liz! This is awesome. I remember my grandma unplugging the phone at her house so I could play with it. My mom used to get mad because then I wouldn't leave the phones alone when I would get home from Grandma's!

I'm old enough where the little town I grew up in the 50's still had an operator. My first phone number was 1733. Rotary phones were hot stuff when we got one. Great card creating!
