Birthday greeting for a precious friend using House Mouse and this awesome retro paper from another sweet friend. The image is watercolored, and the cake has MS chunky glitter, and the popcorn has liquid applique. Using one section of a popcorn box, I framed the image with nesties, and popped them up on foam tape. I smile every time I use my sewing machine too- think of Pat (Kokirose) and how she taught me to use my own machine when she was here visiting. (I didn't even know how to change stitches!) Lol.
Thanks for looking!

Love Love Love this card. As always you blow me away with your cards. Got me thinking of doing something like this for my soon to be 13 year old grandson. And put in a movie pass for him.

Like Bridget, I thought you had done this for the challenge. It fits perfectly. I love what your mind sees in a plain ol' black and white image, sweet sistah! To put that chunky glittah on that cake and puff up the popcorn so it looks like you could pick it off the paper and pop it in your mouth, and then to put it all on a popcorn box--imagination just oozing out of those creative fingers. I love it; makes me smile big smiles. I was just reading a blog that a sister chick sent me today which said: "We must hold loosely to earthly things, and pray that they be used in service to others." Love how you serve and bring joy with the work of you heart and hands. Hugs to you~
