I haven't been around in a while. I decided to try to participate in this Teapot Tuesday challenge. I am not sure I did a very good incorporating things that I was supposed too. oops
I had to rely on images found on the internet for the gorilla and even the background. I printed the background image onto patterned green pattern, then used some copic markers to highlight the leaves a bit. I paper pieced the bananas instead of coloring them.
I decided to use some crushed velvet flock in black to make the gorilla look "furry." I could not think of what words to put on the card. It looked like the gorilla was offering up bananas so that is why I opted for this sentiment. lol

The flock looks really effective . I'm not sure that any of us had a gorilla stamp - monkeys, yes. Your choice of sentiment is great - even if it has triggered *yes, we have no bananas* in my mind. Now, why didn't I think of that earlier in the week!
