Michelle asked us to make a card about a place we go to unwind. My place is Sunday church. It is one hour of getting spiritually refueled for the up coming week. It is a time when I reflect on all my blessings and give thanks. If the homily gets a little long, my thoughts go to finding a color combo that would work on a card from people's clothing. Now not so much as everyone seems to be wearing Packer clothing on game day.
I made the card by embossing the church with white embossing ink and powder. I embossed the image with a folder. I punched snowflakes and glittered them. Added a bow and a pearl. In real life it sparkly. tfl

Ahh, snow covered church and Packer country. Green Bay is where my dad's family is from, and I love visiting there. Now back to the card- really lovely! The bow and snowflakes are my favorite elements after the church

You weren't beside me today, but I found your card anyway. And what a gorgeous card it is. You always come up with unique ways to use your paper and images. I wouldn't have thought of embossing on that beautiful blue. It's just perfect.
And I thought I was the only one who went off to La, La Land during a sermon.
