Holly's challenge is to make a survivor card using the color purple. Her family story is so heartwarming. We have a group of stampers that get together when we don't have a su club meeting and each one of us makes a sample with enough for everyone to make a card of the sample. We then make the card and we get to take them home. Last night I mentioned that my sample was for this worthy challenge. It stirred such meaningful conversation about family and friends who fought this battle. The one conclusion about every person we know who battled breast cancer are heros in our minds. They are so strong and never complain. They all decided to leave the cards with me to send with the rest of mine. It was a pretty simple card using an embossing folder, stamping an image and sentiment. Added lace and bow. The pic is not the best. It's hard to get 8 cards in one pic. tfl

They are lovely cards and what a wonderful gesture for your stamping club to leave the cards to be included in the card drive! Love that embossing folder...I'll have to start looking to add it to my collection!

Beautiful card, but I love the "story" the best! Having done the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk this summer, I can tell you that those battling and surviving breast cancer (and any cancer for that matter) are all heroes in my book!!! LOVE that your cards are going toward such a wonderful case!!!

Wow, not only do I love the design, I am touched by your story as well. Breast cancer has hit our family very hard this year so I know what these greetings mean to those patients. Awesome.....
