This card is for the IC challenge and also for yesterday's F4A86, which was to create a "character card" specific to the recipient. This is for a friend of mine who has repeatedly said, for a long time, that she would never be in a relationship again ... but has now fallen for a guy! She's "holding back" because she's stubborn. I just want her to know I think she should get over it, "eat crow" and go for it!
On a SU Kiwi base, I stamped a telegram in SU going gray ink. Distressed the edges w/Tim's distress tool. I distressed, grunged and inked it up an "ancient" playing card. I attempted to sew it on my card front but broke the needle, so I stitched it w/o the thread. Made holes in card and attached the heart w/MS twine. Stamped crow w/Ranger Medium on Michael's black c.s., emb in black. Cut out, attached key to neck w/MS twine. Wrote words and computer generated. Tore edges w/Anna Griffin ruler by Plaid. Put it all together w/red sticky tape and Ranger glossy accents. Mounted front on SU black card base.
THANKS FOR LOOKING and commenting if you want to. I might be back with another one later tonight or tomorrow.

I loved, loved those art pieces and I'm so glad to somebody was inspired to make a card based on them. I'm surprised that a playing card would break your needle, mind you - but it looks great just as it is.
