This card is going out to Chip who is in need of some cheer while he recovers from foot surgery. Chip is husband of fellow teapotter Karen (redbugdriver).
I'm really late getting this in but at least I didn't have to come in the back door! One of Chip's hobbies is fishing but I didn't have any fish (ing) stamps so I turned to a digi download from Doodle Pantry.
Resized image to fit in the nestie, watercolored, used a silver metallic pen for hooks and sponged over entire image to soften a bit. Added the hodgepodge hardware and twine and mounted to the cheesecloth bg. Base is Soft Seude with a layer of Well Worn dsp from SU. Sentiment from SU's So Happy for You set.
This will be going out to Chip tomorrow and a card for Karen too!

Okay, so never in my entire life did I think I would make this comment:
Those fishing lures are so cute!
But I had to say it even though sticking worms on these things is not quite my thing! Snort! This is very cool! I love the net, and the color you put to it rocks! You went from no fishing stamps to rocking this challenge with a digi! A wonderful card for Chip! Yip!

Fantastic colouring, Robin, and a really great masculine card. I always think the cheesecloth background works so well with the fishing theme - it makes a great net!!

You did a great job coloring the images on your card. I like the addition of the cheesecloth background and the twine, too! Manly, yes, but I like it, too!
