I pretty much used the Holiday Mini as a guide for my calendar but changed it up a little when I didn't have the supplies they used or if I didn't care for something in particular.
It is a time consuming project but I can't say for sure how long it took because I have a 20 month old little boy that likes to try and help his mommy. My husband was at work so it took me all day.

I bought the frame at Micheal's, it is a 12x12 frame so you do lose a little around the edges of the 12x12 paper. I originally bought a 12x12 frame that was like a shadow box but afterwards I realized that you can't take out the glass so I went back and found this frame that was more of a traditional frame style and the glass came out. The original price for the frame was $19.99 but it was 40% off, so it cost about $12
do all of your numbers open? It doesn't look like all the ones in the mini open......and what is the point......I'm trying to make one that has all opening ones. tough to make it fit!
