Hmmm...I'm afraid I didn't stick too closely to the sketch this week. I just got this stamp and *had* to play with it. At first I thought it would be perfect for the sketch, but I realized that the words on the leaves would be covered up by the circle element in the sketch. So I ended up putting a big bow in the opposite corner and am hoping the sketch goddesses will forgive me. ;)
The leaves were colored using distress ink and a waterbrush. I then used the inks & brush to spatter on color for the background panel behind the image. I used an ink pad direct to paper to create the layers behind both panels and a yellow bic mark it marker to color the pearl in the center of the bow.
Thanks for a fun sketch Roxie! I'm going to work on it again with another image that will allow me to stay closer to the sketch.

I thought you had paper pieced these pretty leaves before I read this. I think you did a wonderful job with this sketch! Your bow is beautiful, just like the leaves! = )

Oh Katie, even tho your card is of the "fall" type, it has such a springy feel to it. Love your bright colors and sentiment leaves. What a make you smile kind of card! Love it! TFS :0) P.S. I don't think the challenge police will even notice. It's too dang cute!
