The star is really easy. Just punch a star or cut one from a die cutting machine, then score it from each tip straight down to the in-between dip ( all the way ). You'll do this to all 5 points of the star. Then mountain & valley fold, each point mountain, each inset a valley. Squeeze it a bit to get the center point domed. I glued it on with Crystal Effects from SU.
