(I'll try to personalise the banner when I know where this is going ).
Kit is all out to impress with this page from her scrapbook. Sock party - that's slumming it for her!! She and Dingo go in more for fancy black-tie affairs that suit their mansion. Get a look at the Carrara marble floor and hand-printed gold wallpaper - and that's just the entrance hall. And oh my, that vulgar, flashy big pink diamond that Kit Junior is wearing - a bit OTT, don't you think. But you can understand her prancing around full of excitement at the upcoming ball. Of course, we know Kit is cheating with her scrapbook - who knows where this party really took place ;-).
It's just as well this is Tickle a Teapotter week as this card sure wouldn't make much sense to anybody else. I also combined it with yesterday's TLC to cover chipboard with DP, in a desperate attempt to come up with a dog to include.
5 1/2" square base. Floor is Print Pattern stamped in black. Wallpaper is RubberNecker's Striped Background stamped and embossed with gold on Bazzill. Banner Basics 2 cut from scraps of Bazzill and decorated with bling. Kit Jr is Basic Grey Mellow chipboard covered with a scrap of BG Blush, and with a blingy collar added. Since that chipboard is self-adhesive, in hindsight I should have peeled the sticker off the back and used it as a template to cut my paper, some of those little nooks and crannies were hard to sand, even with the tiny BG files.
No big bows, no poodle skirts but I did manage a fancy blingy collar, and hopefully this will impress all those dogs who looked down on Kit and thought she was just a nerd when they were all in high school together.
I'll be back to comment when I finish off the housework that I didn't get round to yesterday.

No that's whut I'm talkin' bout! Ooh, the gold, it just oozes riches and power...the perfect image to put in the heads of the class mates! And that obnoxious diamond is not so obnoxious! Ha! Kit is looking the part now.....I have never seen a wealthy person's home that didn't have tassles on their banners! And gold ones to boot! Whoot!
Okay, so here is the deal! I might have to cheat when I pick I teapotter for you to send this card to....only the teapotters with five letters in their name like C I N D Y! Snort! Hey, before long, I will be getting emails and pms all saying....hey Cindy, you mispelled my name, it only has 5 letters in it, you goofball, where did you learn how to spell, the same place you learned how to count? Ha!
This card rocks Sabrina....now get to your house work and we will see you when you are ready to relax and have some spiked punch and hop in your socks!

Wonderful room! Love the die cut banner, sabrina. Too bad all the 50's stuff stayed in the USA......it was a fun time, but you're too young to have taken part anyway! LOL!

Wow what a dog house. Don't let my Chow see such splendour. He thinks no dog is treated better than he is but he doesn't have
black and white marble tile floors nor gold stripe wallpaper, to say nothing of the bling on his collar.
