Ahhhhh, I sigh. This morning I was all keyed-up for this challenge that was right up the recycle alley. For some reason, I couldn't translate my sketches to paper. I needed a BIG thank you card and when I came across my K&Co Wild Saffron supplies, the idea for this card came to mind. It was coming together for me ... until ... I tried to get my brown, vintage seam binding on there. OMGosh, I could not get it the way I wanted it and then it was slightly crooked, then my glue dots showed, then the "tie" was off kilter ... EVER HAVE ONE OF THOSE DAYS?!?
To make matters worse, I could not get one of 12 pics to show the wrinkles and curled edges I did on the tag or the paper bag. GEEZ! I decided I'd just pick the best pic and go for it ... and this is it.
THANKS for taking time to look!
Incidentally, the "ribbon" on the tag is a triple folded strip of the paper bag that I twisted around. The bg is a piece of the paper bag, which I tore off, wrinkled (more than it already was), curled on edges and distressed with two inks.

I love the papers from the Wild Saffron collection! You were right to use them for this challenge. They look great with your beautiful tag and stitched paper bag piece! Fabulous card.
Yep, I've had those days too! I only wish my bad days would produce a card as gorgeous as yours! Love your distressing and your colors rock! So clever to twist a piece of the bag for your tag 'ribbon' - love that idea - love your card!!!

...and if I didn't know about the "mess" you made I would certainly think that you are a great artist. Well, I still do. This is great and I love that you paired your browns with the pale blue. Great card. Great artist.

I knew the ribbon on the tag was brown paper, but I wondered how you made it look that way! Sorry for your frustrating time with this card. I think we can all relate to having one of those days or two! = ) It's good you didn't give up, you have a really nice card there to give to someone special as a thank you!

So you had yourself a day like I have everyday! Despite all your obstacles, you still managed to create a very special card. I'm hanging on to all my old vintage seam binding. I may need that for my retirement fund. Great card.
