Today we visited The Creative Cake Academy. Yummm-o!! What a delight to the eyes, but if I made one of those I surely would not want to eat it!!
This is my first ever easel card! I'm considering Pat Smethers as my 'teacher'. She sent me an easel card & it holds a special spot on my table. So I looked at it to see how I could adapt circles. Took me a little while, but I like the outcome.
I used this cupcake group as my inspiration: http://creativecakeacademy.blogspot.com/
Obviously I used the red flowers one. I punched my flowers w/ a small 5 petal punch, I think it's EK. Added some small half pearls. The leaves are from Terrific Tulips & stamped & cut out. I used Perfect Punches for the sentiment & added small flowers on either side. This will have to be hand delivered!
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek at my inspired easel card.

Ms Karen, I know exactly where your inspiration came from. This is a perfect easel styled card. If this was your first one, trust me, there's no need to practice. You've got this style down to a science. Great card.
