Teresa gave us a challenge today to use the chalkboard technique. This was a definite challenge for me. I started by stamping the image with su white craft. I used my chalks to color it in, I then used some pearl x to highlight the image. It's hard to see in pic, but it does have a shine to it. I discovered when assembling the card my image was quite large. In order to make the ribbon look right I cut a slit to run ribbon through.I added a pleated ribbon on the bottom. Added sentiment and pearls. I added some dots on image with sharpie poster paint. I started this card with a fall theme in mind, but that's not what it looks like. My paper is choc. chip, but looks black in pic. tfs

You are right, it does look black instead of brown. However, it is a beautiful image with wonderful coloring! I like the added dots of white, ribbon and pearls! Such a girl card!

A beautiful card!! I love the flower and how you have added the ribbon so that you didn't cover any of the pretty flower!! The flower sort of makes me think of the embroidery my Mom and Grandmother used to do!
