I'm a teapot virgin. This is my very first ever TPT challenge, and man o man, lemme tell ya, I laboured over this one! LOL I don't think it's supposed to take almost 5 hours to make a card but I got it done.
The objectives were to use a fairy . . . get cookies . . . no idea how that works, but cookies are good donkey . . . . . I have a dragon fairy . . . that's gotta be good for at least one cookie huh?
I don't have any flourishes but I coulda photoshopped those on but I wasn't smart enough to do that BEFORE taking a picture of it.
I got the pink and blue though! Oh, and extra pearly thingies to make up for the complete lack of flourishes.
I wonder how many cookies I can expect to receive and how long do I have to wait to get them? Dinner's in a half hour.
Anyways, the inside of the card says "You're still moving forward". I wanted to be a bit different and inject a touch of levity where usually there is none. This comes from something my 13 yr old son said to me when he was helping me through a tough time . . . he said "Mom . . . there's always and upside to the downside . . . sometimes you just have look harder to find it, so start lookin'!" It made me laugh, and I never forgot it so it seemed somehow appropriate based on the write up for Michelle.
Thanks for lookin'!

Well, well, WELL! Look who took the PLUNGE and came to a tea party!!!!
Heather, I am so proud of you - I know that cards is not where you usually "live" in your crafting world, and even though you think it took a long time, you will be surprised how easy it gets after you do a few more. I love the fairy image you colored - looks so cute - and the border looks fantastic with the lace and pearls. I'd say your first attempt was a huge success!!
Now go find Mothermark and collect your cookies - you EARNED them!! Great card, wenchie!! Keep the ball rolling now!! We will convert you from 3 D items only yet!!!
Hugs!

Welcome to the teaparty Heather. No need to be skeered here even if we do have a reputation for being a bit rowdy. We have a cow teapotter, one who flings things around, 3 pseudonym teapotters, a clown, and numerous other personalities you'll get to know. Great card, nothing like a fairy dragon dressed in pink and blue to make you believe things will get better.
