I'm really struggling trying to use this stamp and with no other examples at the moment...I guess I'll muddle my way through. lol I could just call my in-laws and ask what color should the perfect Hanukkah card be. My husband only seems to be able to point out that this is not it...but I think it's kinda cute.

I do love the colors & paper, but have to agree with your hubby, not the traditional blue & silver/white we usually see with Hanukkah. (disclaimer: I am not Jewish, so I am far from an expert on Hanukkah) Type in Hanukkah in the search window-there are lots of samples and you're not the only one to stray from the blue. I did a quick search; it seems there is no specific reason for blue & white (except perhaps an association to Israel's flag)

This layout for the card is nice. Your husband is right about the paper - too Christmasie ( trees and holly). Unfortunely SU has no other paper that you could put in its place except cardstock ( a royal blue and silver cardstock). You could go on line to find something. Or just copy the one from the Holiday mini. Keep trying.
