I went all the way with this challenge and made it a fall themed card. I got out my colored pencils and mineral spirits and also my paper piercing paraphernalia, some things I haven't used in quite some time. I enjoyed making this card even if I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to summer.

Love this! That lady reminds me of a character in one of my boys fall books. I haven't pulled them out yet, but now I am curious to figure out what book I am thinking of! Your coloring looks great, and I am DEFINITELY ready to say goodbye to summer and 100 degree days! LOL! :0)

Your card is very beguiling, Polly. I don't know the proper term, but your lady has a folk art quality to her that brings a special charm to your card. Gorgeous DPs and colors and your piercings add a special interest. A beautiful fall card.
