The TSC for this week, given by Greenie (Sue) was to make an Easel Card using shades of purple and green, white or vanilla; must have 3 layers and flowers are allowed.
The Easel Card base is a scrap of CS. The front panel base is a white piece of scrap CS that I embossed and then sponged on Elegant Eggplant. Mounted a scrap of green DP for the background and added the stem, flower and border elements and accented the flower center with a pearl brad. I also used a Nesties Label die to hold the single sentiment from StampinUp for the Easel Card bottom panel. I cut 2 large flowers and one small using two dies from the Nestie Poinsettia die. I curled the petals under quite by accident and decided I like the looks so curled only the first "large" flower layer but left the 2nd large flower center flat. I made this whole card with scraps which is something I try to do to keep the PILE from getting much bigger. When its my turn to give the TSC, I think I'll have them do something with scraps and then steal their ideas..........

That was a MISTAKE when you curled the flower petals???? Whoa, Sistah, That looks like it was planned mighty fine, if ya ask me! To be able to take your"scraps" as you call 'em and make this gorgeous card, take s a heap of heart and talent, both of which you have in abundance! Love the one word sentiment - could not be more perfect than that!! LYMI!
