This is for this weeks queen for the day. for this week we get to choose our own, and I want to choose Pat Smethers. She brings sunshine to every comment, and is so full of love for all, and has so much love in her awesome beautiful work. She was queen for the day I believe just after I started, I didnt know what this challenge was yet so I missed her so I am also glad I get a chance to honour her..:0) This is the card I have had in my favorites since a couple of weeks I had started last fall, and has still been one of my favs. being I have never done much except rectangle or square I thought this would be a perfect time to try a round one...its fun...here is her card...Gallery at Splitcoaststampers You should also check out her wonderful gallery, she is definitaly a talented artist.
I did not have the stamp so i drew it from hers, and I just got some flower soft adn so I thout I would try it out, but had to figure how to make it shiny...If you dont know me by now...I LOVE my shiny stuff, especially at Christmas, so I put glitter glue under a nd a touch of it on top of the flower soft. I dont have the pine leaf punch, but had a couple of these kind of metally ones I got from a garage sale . I used a snowflake embossing folder for the bottom half and sponged the clouds with paper towel for the top put a hole for the string on the top and added the littel red bow under the snowballs...:0) Thank you Pat for getting my mom Heartsong47, and myself into this craft, and for being such a angel. thanks for visiting...:0)

I agree with everything you said about Pat - she is a doll. This card is so great - love the sparkles, the layout, the shape and the embossing. I see why you had Pat's card in your favs - my favorites gallery is full of Pat's cards - in fact, I had to tell myself one day that I didn't need to put all her cards in my favorites because I could go visit her gallery any time - LOL! Wonderful case and wonderful choice!

Sweet Wendy....I am so touched that you would case me, and with my most favored lil snowman too (the only guy I like better is the WWW man, lol). When I first saw this, I thought to myself- "of course Wendy chose the snowman, it has the most glitter!" Bwahahaha! Glitter "issues", both of us! Your words warmed my heart, and your creation melted it. I love how you can draw anything! Your artistic talents are more than amazing my friend, because you have the gift of stamping (and drawing) with your heart. Thank you so much for sharing your heart with me. I remember your mom's excitement when we first talked long ago, and she was telling me how talented you were, and how she sent some goodies to get you started. I have been a fan of yours since card #1. You rock! You know that, right? Love you much. {{{{hugs}}} to you sweet friend! LYMI
