This card started with a recycle idea. I was experiementing a few years ago. Came across it when I was junking out today, and when I read a challenge for recycling, I thought of that bit of background for the stamped panel. I cut it to a smaller size and stamped some images and a sentiment on it. I punched a small circle for the centre of the sentiment, to cover the little present image that was there.
When I assembled it, the top seemed too bare, so I hand embossed circles from a SU Classy Brass stencil. Accidently one of the circles overlapped. I liked it, so instead of scrapping the base, I deliberately overlapped a few more of them. I really enjoy embossing by hand. I like the 'softer' edge than you get rather than using an embossing machine.

don't ya love it when a plan comes together! great job with the recycling. I will post a 'recycled' baby shower card tomorrow that is almost finished... I used her invite, well, I kind of destroyed it... to use the images as embellishments. I guess it is nicer to say 'I recycled your shower invitation' TFS
