Our Community Manager, Lydia aka Understandblue, was named Featured Stamper this week. It didn't take me long to find the card I wanted to case from her yummy gallery. I remember when she made this card and I loved it: Slainte! by Understandblue at Splitcoaststampers
My hearts aren't shamrocks, so I'm calling them Fall flowers. Lydia used a punch for her shamrocks and I used a die cut. I think my hearts were much larger so I had to make fewer to accomodate the size of my card.
I stamped my background after cutting and scoring, sponged around tiles and edges, die cut and placed flowers, added twine for the stems, a couple of brads for flower centers, and the sentiment.
I made a delft tile card as Lydia did. What fun, and there is a fun and easy tutorial here on SCS in resources. It is done my Julie Warner.
Enjoy your week, Lydia!
