This was so easy I feel like I cheated. But I save everything so when I saw that today's WT challenge was to used something recyled, I knew I had it easy.
I started looking for a piece of cheesecloth - that I still have not found - that came from a CPR or some other kind of class that DH took awhile ago. I never found the cheesecloth, but came across this wonderful scrap of wallpaper border.
When we were selling Mom's house (that I grew up in) in about 2001 a couple of us went to do some tidying up. We painted the kitchen a pale yellow and put this wallpaper border on. Mom would have loved it. She was color blind, but could see the brightest colors so everything that she could make bright, she did. I loved the paper so much that I saved what was left and today I am using it on my card. (Well, no, I still have a bit more and will keep that until I can use it too)
I cut a piece of Imagine That textured cs for the card and glued on the wallpaper. Sentiment is Stampendous and shows up a lot better IRL. I like it.

Those bright colours and big flowers remind me of the curtain fabric my mother chose for the kitchen when they moved to a country cottage that had small windows. It's a beautiful border and makes such a lovely card.
What would you have made if you'd found the cheesecloth?

Fabulous card. I love those wild, bright, lovely colours. What a great use of a piece of 'throw-away' wallpaper border. Thanks for the inspiration...I think I have some squirreled away too. Time to dig it out!

Those flowers are beautiful, and you certainly had them for a long time! Are you a pack-rat? = ) Nothing wrong with being one when you can use what you save.
