I struggled with this card all week. It's the first time I've made a telescope (or stacked) card so I wanted to keep it simple, but didn't want it to look simple - kwim? There are so many awesome & beautiful cards in the TLC338 gallery, and I didn't want my card to look like them, but I still wanted to keep it simple. See my dilemma?
Well, I'm happy with the end product altho I see now that my brads aren't exactly centered. (Blame it on my poor vision.) I started with a 4.25" white cs base, punched the corners and sponged. Then I added two Fleur de lis die cuts using a teal textured cs and sponged white cs.
For the middle piece, I used sponged white cs again. and a new stamp that hadn't been inked before. There's just enough room to write the person's name and sign my own.
The top layer is the teal textured cs again, with a sponged white Nestie heart and a M.S. punched heart on teal. The hardest part was the sponging as I tried various combinations using additional colors, but again decided to keep it simple by sticking with a few shades of blue.

What a good job and these are so fun. The blues look great and someone will be very happy to receive this card.
