Afternoon, all. Well, this is my first tag. I rather enjoyed making it. Pretty much the same as a card, but without the back flap.
Ok, there is much to tell. The green and pink flowers were made with elastic ruffle that I found at the fabric store, paper flowers, leaves and a lot of glue. The flower center you see with the cluster of small pearls is an embellishment that I found in the wedding section at Michaels. The burgundy flower is actually a silk flower which I cut off the back, added a pearl bead and green liquid pearls to the stamen. The leaves in the upper left corner was cut with Spellbinders. The paper I used for those leaves was a piece of packaging I saved because I liked it and thought maybe it could come in handy. It did.
I used Spellbinders shapeabilities for the tag at the bottom. I brushed on some distressing ink and glued a cameo embellishment that I bought from Michaels, package of 5 for $3.99, I think.
All the dp panels were cut, matted and brushed with distressing ink.
I punched a large antique colored brass eyelet on the top panel, threaded it with some seam binding and matted it to the bg dp.
I think that's about it. Hope I didn't miss anything but I wouldn't be surprised if I did. Sorry in advance.
Hope you like the tag. TFL!

Like it ! I love it. Your flowers are beautiful. Making your own flowers gives such a personal touch. I started making some and need to play with that some more. I just love your cameo and those colors together are fantastic. You always put colors together to well. =^..^=
