Inspired by many of the DTGD challenges...loving these!
I have never tried this card style before and wanted to use an especially beautiful image, so I chose Flourishes Peaches and Cherries, stamped in Tuxedo Black on Flourishes Ivory CS. Colored with Copics, sponged with wild honey and cut with a nestie. Shortened this panel by cutting off the top and matted with Night of Navy. Placed on a BG June Bug DP panel and added the pearls. Glossed the cherries with CE. Used Kitties tutorial to make some scaled down cherry-like blossoms and added glass glitter a la Gingerbeary8. Punched the MS border punch twice each in green and pink, cut and glued the blooms. Painted each flower and leaf with Twinkling H2Os with a flat brush for veined highlights (you can see a little of it on the leaves in this photo but it looks lovely IRL). Fashioned the bow from MS seam binding and wriggled it under the image panel. Dies: Nesties rectangle and label, TH Sizzix Tattered Florals. embellies Ribbon, Pearls, hand-made flowers. PT - 27 + some fussy cutting
Thank you DD and Alumni for these fantastic challenges. Thanks especially for the wonderful tutorials - I learned some cool things in making this card. That you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

I love the way you have both cherry blossoms and those beautifully coloured cherries - this is a beautiful card.
Last year there was a bumper crop of cherries on the trees around here, every time I walked to the shops I'd get home with sticky red fingers. Not this year, alas.

Wow! This is totally wonderful and very beautiful. I love all the fussy stuff - makes one terrific card. I know this one took some serious time to make and it shows. The recipient will be totally thrilled. I see a little Kittie and a little Carol in this - but a lot of you too. TFS!!! Admiring hugz to you!
