One of our oldest tutorials in the resource section was the Tapestry tutorial. It needed overhauling in a BAD way.
For the tutorial sample I chose Verve's gorgeous Great Friend stamp set. Instead of using Pigment ink, I used Distress ink. I LOVE that they stay wet long enough to emboss them after you sponge them.
The sentiment panel was layered on a matching Nestaboard. I recently discovered Want2Scrap products and I have to say I love them. The swirl is also from them. Who doesn't like bling and products that match Spellbinders dies?
Thanks so much for looking! Have a great day!
Hugs and smiles

This is beautiful, Beate. Your choice of colors is wonderful. I'll have to check out your updated tutorial. I have some distress inks, but haven't done much with them. Your card really makes a wonderful statement.
