For the Dare to Get Dirty Challenge, this addresses three different challenges. And yes, my fingers are VERY dirty right now.
This was lots of fun. I love the elegance and simplicity of a Center Step Card, and learned a thing or two about alcohol inks in the process. The card base is pearlized, and it took to the alcohol inks quite differently than the more porous cardstock in the middle. It doesn't show in the photo, but the pearlized paper has a lovely sparkly blue-green sheen, like ocean water on a sunny day. The center panel, with standard cardstock, is matte, and hopefully, looks like one of those old fashioned maps of ocean and land.

Your alcohol ink *map* looks wonderful - like an aerial photo. What really caught me even more was the way you embossed round the edge of the tag - love that!!

Great job with the alcohol inks!! Don't you just love how they work and look on the metallic/pearlized cardstocks! Getting dirty is what it's all about!!
