Carol aka Gingerbeary8 is the new Queen for the Day. I'm late again but what an honor to TRY to case on of Carol's beautiful creations. I chose this card: Napkin Fold-Lilacs In the Summer by Gingerbeary8 at Splitcoaststampers
Carol sent me this card for my birthday and I uploaded it folded incorrectly. My gosh, what was I doing? Didn't notice it until last night and went back and edited. Because Carol is such a sweetie, she never said a word.
I spent a great deal of time Sunday working on this card. If I ever get this type card done as quickly as Carol, I'll have to do many, many of them.
I added some Primas on each side and used a different image and paper. Because I ruined some of my double sided designer paper I was working with, I substituted coral because the inside (another photo) has some of that color on the pretty flowers.
Carol, I hope you are enjoying Queendom because you certainly deserve every minute of it, my punchkateer pal.
This card also fits into the Stampin' B's Design Team challenge to use ribbon so in it goes with my other card.
I cannot win with this card. I added lots of sparkle to my flowers and it was showing on my first upload. Decided one of my flowers was lower than the other, made the picture over and no sparkle at all on those flowers. O.K., that's it...no more photos.

Brenda, a gorgeous card!! I can see the amount of work you put into this lovely creation!! A great tribute to the Queen!! (On the other picture you have your keywords in your paper selections - you must have been cross-eyed like I was after doing a case of Carol's work.)

WOW, I wish I would have waited to upload my napkin fold card for Bearzi, but I didn't know she was going to be QFTD. You did a MAGNIFICENT job Benzi. Have you had those cataracts removed or something? All your layers, details and colors are stunning. Looks like a Bearzi creation. I couldn't be her if I tried. Well worth the time and effort in this beauty!

God bless you, Benzi, for being so brave in even attempting this card - it skeered me out of my wits when I looked at it, but you sure did a great job on it!! You are fearless when it comes to making something to honor the Queen, be it totally a new type fold or casing something as wonderful as Carol does with next to no effort !
Maybe I will give it a second look and T R Y!! You done good!!

Oh Benzi, what an amazing elegant card...I love what you did with Carol's inspiration! I couldn't work straight through or I would have gone buggy - I don't know how Bearzi does it. Gee you chose beautiful colors and a lovely theme, and I love your corner decorations - they look like piped royal icing. Gorgeous card all around, wonderful work my friend!

Well look at this. What a beauty Benz!!! I love the colors you used and that fabulous punch around the page. The roses on the sides of your focal point on the band are a wonderful designer touch. This looks fabulous. Come-on you know you want to make more...lol
