I have to apologize for the poor quality on this shot...I made this yesterday afternoon for a couple that celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary at our place yesterday evening. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!
I made a pennant flag for each letter and number in Happy 30th Anniversary - each just about the same with slight variations in the number of flowers, placement of flowers, etc. Then I taped each pennant onto a looooong piece of twine and we tacked it onto our front porch. I'll add a photo of the hanging pennant to my blog after I post this photo up.
To make each pennant, I sponged crushed olive distress ink at the bottom, and broken china at the top. I stamped the flowers using shabby shutters and barn door distress inks. The letters were basic grey chipboard letters that I sprayed with green mist then another mist of perfect pearls gold mixed with water. Once the letters dried I attached them with glossy accents to the pennants. I wish I'd had more time to capture the shiny gold on those letters, but hopefully you get an idea from this photograph.
TFL!
